PRIVACY POLICYIn accordance with federal regulations, we are giving you this notice to tell you how we may use non-public personal information ("Private Information") about you. This notice applies to both current and former customers of Advantix Marketing. Collection and Use of Private InformationWe collect Private Information about you from the following sources:
Disclosure of Private InformationWe may disclose Private Information (described above) under the following circumstances: 1) To Marketing Service ProvidersWe may disclose all Private Information to companies that perform marketing services for us or to other institutions with which we may enter into joint marketing agreements. We may make such disclosures about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer. 2) Among AffiliatesSome of the Private Information described above may consist of information about your history of dealing with us or our Affiliates, such as identification information, account history and balances and payment history. We may share Private Information with our Affiliates. Our Affiliates include other Marketing companies. We do this to provide you with the products and services we and our Affiliates offer. 3) With Other Third PartiesIn addition, we may share all Private Information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer with other non-affiliated third parties, as permitted by law. Protection of InformationWe restrict access to non-public personal information about you to our employees who need this information to provide marketing products or services to you. We will strive to maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that are consistent with federal standards to guard your Private Information. Online Reputation Management PolicyAs an extension of Advantix Marketing’s core product offering, Advantix Marketing offers an Online Reputation Management Program that provides their customers with the ability to have their reviews posted in numerous Social Media Websites on the Internet. Once the reviews pass through our certification process, those reviews become a part of the business information that we publish to social media websites (third party sites). These reviews may also appear on a website that Advantix Marketing creates and maintains on its customers' behalf. It is up to the third party sites to accept the submissions of business information that Advantix Marketing makes. Advantix Marketing has no control of the posting, changes or removals of reviews by third party websites or resources that are provided by Advantix Marketing or companies or persons other than that of Advantix Marketing. In addition, these third party websites may publish the business information we provide alongside information provided by other sources, or may make changes, enhancements, additions or deletions to the business information we provide, with or without notice to Advantix Marketing or to our customers. These third party services, if any, are provided solely by those third party sites, and subject to the terms and conditions of those third party sites. These terms are in addition to any other terms and conditions specified in our verbal or written contracts with Advantix Marketing customers, written or implied. As described in our standard terms and conditions, if you are an Advantix Marketing Online Reputation Management (ORM) customer you agree to participate in the ORM program by providing legitimate reviews to Advantix Marketing for publications. In addition, if you are an Advantix Marketing customer you agree to comply with the terms and procedures regarding review creation, certification and removal described more fully below. Advantix Marketing makes no warranty as to the effect that your participation in the Review Program will have upon search engine results, index placement, search ranking, or any other outcome with respect to third party sites and services. Review certification When one of our customers provides a review, that review becomes a candidate for external publication. In order to ensure accuracy, fairness, integrity of review content and the security of customer data, customers will submit the review, but note that any information that will result in the identity of the reviewer will be redacted. Removal request procedure If a customer believes a review should be removed from a third party website, the customer may request that the review be removed from the third party website. Upon submission, Advantix Marketing will review such request in light of the removal criteria and the information submitted in the request. As part of that review, Advantix Marketing may request additional information from the customer in order to make an accurate determination of the appropriateness of the request. If Advantix Marketing determines that the removal request complies with this policy, we will move forward and request that the review be deleted. Takedown request criteria Advantix Marketing seeks to publish reviews that accurately and fairly represent the opinions of the buyers of our customers' services or products. In general, every review written by a client of one of our customers will be published with the business information, unless that review is demonstrated to violate one or more of the criteria set forth below. Reviews or comments can be removed if they:
Reviews or comments must be objective and factual, and cannot contain inaccuracies or false statements that are material to the service performed, or significant unrelated content, such as spam or promotional materials. Advantix Marketing believes that removal requests should be invoked only rarely or in exceptional circumstances. Comments made in response to client reviews are subject to the same removal criteria as reviews themselves, and are subject to oversight and removal by third party websites. Use of reviews In the event of any written termination of a customers’ service -- for any reason -- as provided in our standard terms and conditions, Advantix Marketing will stop providing reviews to third party services 30 days after notification. Guidelines for reviews The following guidelines are provided to customers providing reviews to be posted by Advantix Marketing.
Businesses can write short comments about individual reviews in many of the websites where reviews are posted. Comments are a good way for business owners to thank reviewers for an excellent review.
